In 2025, the festival will use music students as volunteers to help them fulfill their graduation requirement for service. Opportunities for service are limited in the Toledo area.
The WBA worked with the High School booster band to sell lunches and dinners at the festival. All the proceeds went to the band fund to buy instruments for students who couldn't afford them. They will be back in 2025.
Each year, Toledo High School makes the school grounds look great for camping at the festival. To acknowledge this, the WBA has donated $1,000 to the high school grounds keeping fund.
The City of Toledo has supported the festival for over 30 years, and loans traffic cones and barriers to the festival for the camping area. The WBA presented the mayor $500 to help with costs.
